Louis Vuitton presents its first ski collection La Maison joins the Mountain club, where gorpcore meets luxury

The fashion world is in the mood for a weekend in the snow. From Miu Miu to Jacquemus, from Chanel to Gucci x The North Face, from Dior Alps to Chloè x Moonboot, the call to join the Mountain club is more and more irresistible and brands are competing to propose the coolest outfit to show off on the slopes and inside the chalets. Louis Vuitton has done the same, presenting for the first time a ski collection that combines the comfort of après-ski, the technical details of gorpcore and the typical luxury of the French Maison.

In this limited-edition capsule there is everything you need to face the snow with style: windbreakers embellished with images of alpine landscapes at sunset; parkas with limbing-inspired rope belts and snap hooks; water-resistant overalls in elastic material; tracksuits and pants with ad hoc lined hoods to keep warm, protective mesh cuffs, lots of pockets, and zippers to easily put on ski boots.  And for dinners in the chalet you can choose from soft sweaters to match with nylon leggings or shiny satin joggers, sweatshirts, with and without zippers, and soft furs. The offer is completed by a series of winter essentials such as monogram wool caps, maxi ski goggles, fox fur gloves and mittens and brushed silk and cashmere scarves. The real must-haves of the collection are three: the ECONYL® down jacket, a material made of 100% recycled fiber nylon; the high-tech ski boots, equipped with an integrated heating system and Bluetooth, and, of course, the skis with Louis Vuitton logo.

The Louis Vuitton ski collection will be available online and in stores from November 26.
