Fendi Astrology, the Summer Capsule 2023 campaign starring Irina Shayk

Fendi presents the new Astrology collection with a fresh and witty advertising campaign in which Irina Shayk was photographed by Steven Maisel. The supermodel is portrayed in a bright set that reproduces the perfect summer atmosphere: bright blue sky, a large terrace overlooking the sea and details in the iconic FENDI yellow, reminiscent of umbrellas and mats. Lightness and fun and the desire to sunbathe on the beach or sip cocktails by the pool are elements we also find in the 2023 summer capsule, which combines Kim Jones' key codes and Silvia Venturini Fendi's signature accessories with collections from Maison's archives, SS90 and SS93.

Irreverence, fun and functionality give a new twist to the zodiac and astrological prints originally designed by Karl Lagerfeld and the sporty silhouettes that appeared on the runway in 1993, transformed into swimwear in recycled Lycra. Beachwear is joined by a range of ready-to-wear pieces for holidays, including caftans and draped satin dresses, astrology-print suits and blousons, crocheted dresses with subtle FF logo inserts to masculine-cut viscose or cashmere jumpers, sun-bleached denim and silk jersey.

The accessories are signed by Silvia Venturini Fendi and share the same summer spirit as the iconic Peekaboo and Baguette bags, which are rejected in white leather, petite size and the embossed FF signature version. These now-classic styles are joined by a Sunshine shopper in raffia and the Fendi Step Out bucket bag in straw, available in medium and small sizes and featuring a FF jacquard interior. When it comes to shoes, the baguette heel is used on a strappy sandal and a mid-height pump. Instead, the zodiac signs that inspired Astrology have been reinterpreted by Delfina Delettrez Fendi in the form of fabric bracelets and elegant pendants that can be worn as individual earrings or as pendants on a necklace.
