Cecilie Bahnsen x ASICS floral sneakers

Cecilie Bahnsen, the Danish designer known for her ethereal silhouettes between couture and ready-to-wear, chose ASICS for a second time for a collaboration presented during her FW23 show at Paris Fashion Week. The running shoes once again meet floral details and pastel colours in a capsule with one of the brand's most iconic models, the GEL-NIMBUS 9.

Retaining the signature black, silver and white upper, Bahnsen has added delicate flowers to the toe and heel of the shoe, while each colourway features its own distinctive hue scattered across the shoe and midsole. The last season, launched in September 2022, also featured floral elements with appliquéd daisies and colours that broke with the anonymous Scandinavian tradition, but this time the colour palette is more intense with pastel shades, cerulean blue, lemon, magenta and hints of poppy red. With the perfect balance between boldness and delicacy, the designer has once again brought romance back to shoes.
