Nike presents the Air Max Dolce The new sculptural sneaker between streetwear and high fashion

Nike presents the new Air Max Dolce, an unprecedented silhouette that merges the heritage of the Air Max universe with a sculptural, daring and contemporary design approach designed for everyday style. Designed to move casually between sports, streetwear and high fashion, the sneaker stands out for its printed upper with an iconic mesh cage, the lace-free structure and the Air unit visible in the heel, an element that gives the model its unmistakable shape and excellent cushioning. The result is a shoe capable of being both familiar and revolutionary: a classic for everyday use, a casual slip-on model or a real statement piece to combine with more refined looks. In fact, the Air Max Dolce was created to adapt to the wearer, leaving total freedom of interpretation on how to interpret and stylize it.
Two shades of style: Light Magenta and Silver
The unmistakable Air Max silhouette debuts on the market through two color variants, Light Magenta and Silver, mixing the brand's inimitable DNA with an effortlessly fashion-forward attitude. Both colorways highlight the architectural construction of the sneaker, offering two opposing but complementary readings: from the expressive energy of bright pink to the minimal and metallic character of silver.
The Air Max heritage evolves on a daily basis
The Air Max Dolce is rooted in one of Nike's most influential design stories. In 1987, the Air Max line introduced visible air cushioning for the first time. What was born as a simple experiment in technology applied to footwear quickly became a distinctive feature of the brand's visual language, moving from running tracks to the road and establishing itself as a true cultural icon. Today, the Air Max Dolce carries on this story with a form shaped by the same spirit of innovation, but refined for the needs of contemporary style. Its key details remain unequivocally Air Max: laceless shaped upper with cage structure and air cushion visible on the back to anchor the sculptural profile of the shoe.
Release dates and price
The first release of the Air Max Dolce in the Light Magenta variant arrived on August 22, 2026 at a price of 159.99€. Since September 12, 2026, the silhouette has been accompanied by the Silver version, introducing a metallic finish with a versatile and ultra-modern soul.
Giving a voice to the new generation: the Dolce XOXO exhibition in Milan
The launch of the Air Max Dolce puts the new generation of creatives at the center of the debate. Through the SNKRS app, Nike is creating a space dedicated to artists, designers and emerging minds to allow them to interpret the sneaker through their sensitivity and visual language. In Milan, this vision came to life with the Dolce XOXO exhibition, a platform of works and visual interventions signed by names such as Common Index, Luna Mahoux, Sara Sadik, Brennan Wojtyla, Tudor Ciurescu, Hollywood Superstar Review, Pallotta Supplies, Emir Karyo and Mika Ben Amar, accompanied by a live performance by the London-based experimental duo Rat Section. Intertwining digital culture, contemporary art, technology and music, the event reflects Nike's commitment to giving space to the Next Gen to experiment and guide the cultural conversation around the themes of identity and modernity.
