Gmbh and the tribute to South Asia In the SS23 of Benjamin A. Huseby and Serhat Işık also two collaborations with Scholl and ASICS

Gmbh, a Berlin-based brand founded by Benjamin A. Huseby and Serhat Işık (freshly appointed as creative directors of Trussardi), chooses Paris Fashion Week and a co-ed fashion show to present its first series of garments dedicated to women's fashion. The SS23 collection is called Ghazal, after a poetic composition common in Islamic literature, and is a fragmented and personal tribute to the beauty and culture of South Asia, the two designers' homeland, in which spirituality, protection, healing, freedom and sex converge.

Thus evil eyes pop up on the buttons, skirts and dresses resemble elegant sarongs to be paired with micro tops and shirts with soft silhouettes, jackets are mini dresses that are worn with maxi boots long dresses are see-through and have deep slits, leather garments give a sexy twist, while maxi and fake furs give a touch of glamour to the shorts plus shirt and tie combo. Making the collection special are prints developed with Java-based Indonesian artist Muhammad "Rofi" Fatchurofi that are inspired by the transformative properties of water and two important collaborations, one with ASICS and one with Scholl picking up the thread of iconic comfort that distinguished clogs back in the 1970s and taking them to the next aesthetic level.
