Burberry introduces the series of face masks Featuring the brand's signature check motif

Even if the lockdown is over, the face mask has turned from one of the most direct protective tools available into a must-have accessory for our daily life. Despite the ethical issue, more and more brands have decided to focus on the production of this item. Following Off-White, Nike, Bape and Ralph Lauren, Burberry has also started producing its face mask series.

Using antimicrobial technology to prevent the spread of the pandemic, the British Maison has sustainably produced two models of cotton face masks featuring a vintage check motif in archival beige and light blue, each with a matching travel case.

The masks are available online on the brand's website. A portion of the sale will support the communities affected by the global pandemic. The proceeds will go to the Burberry Foundation COVID-19 community fund managed by The Burberry Foundation, which in recent months has provided PPE, assistance to food banks and health charities around the world. The company thus confirms its commitment to fighting the crisis, which began with donations for vaccine research, food bank charities and the re-conversion of the Castleford factory in Yorkshire to produce non-surgical gowns for healthcare and care workers, as well as providing surgical masks through its global supply chain.
