Kim Kardashian's new $70.4 million home

Kim Kardashian's new $70.4 million home A beautiful mansion with an ocean view

While we mere mortals peruse Vinted or, those with more substantial budgets, Vestiaire Collective, celebrities are traveling on a whole other level and getting into real estate shopping. In the space of a few weeks, for example, Kim Kardashian put up for sale a $3.5 million apartment in Calabasas, a house in Hidden Hill listed at $5.5 million, and bought a spectacular ocean-view mansion in Malibu at a cost of $70.4 million. The property, which previously belonged to Cindy Crawford, thus enters the list of California's most expensive purchases, along with the new mansion Drake paid $75 million for and The One aka "the world's largest house" sold for a whopping $126 million.

The mansion, which dates back to the 1940s and is located in the exclusive neighborhood of Encinal Bluffs, is perched on an oceanfront hillside and is surrounded by 3.2 acres of luxurious gardens that make it invisible from the street and protect it from the intrusiveness of the paparazzi. The house proper is on two levels and covers an area of about 700 square meters. The ground floor houses a bright open space that includes several living areas, a dining room and a kitchen; while the second floor contains four bedrooms and five bathrooms. For guests, the property also offers two annexes with private entrances, a bathroom and a kitchen. Outside, Kim and her four children will have a pool, spa, tennis courts and private access to the white sands of El Sol Beach at their disposal. Neighbors? If she wanted to chat Kim could count on other celebrities living in the area such as Leonardo Di Caprio, Cher, Lady Gaga or Courtney Cox, while if she wanted to discuss her children with Kanye West she would find him about 14 miles down the coast in the house the star recently purchased for $57 million.

We do not yet know how Kim will furnish the new abode and whether she will retain the minimalist style of the csa she shared with Kanye. A small clue, however, can be given by the new line of home accessories from her Skkn By Kim brand. Available from Oct. 6, 2022, the collection, designed to emanate a sense of calm, features clean, ultra-chic lines and neutral colors. The first drop focuses on bathroom accessories and includes a round tissue box, a small container, a wastebasket, a vanity tray, and a spherical container for cotton pads.
