The new collection of UNIQLO and Jil Sander is coming soon

UNIQLO and Jil Sander team up again for the launch of the +J Fall/Winter 2021 collection. The new items, hitting stores on November 18, conclude the second chapter of a collaboration that began 11 years earlier and also coincided with the Japanese retailer's first stint in the world of high fashion. To celebrate this special event, the two partners are revisiting winter wardrobe classics with a modern twist, while maintaining the coolness and minimalistic, timeless style that has always defined Ms. Sander's fashion. The iconic designer introduces her new creations with these words:

This fall and winter collection focuses on unique styles, comfortable textures and luxurious tailoring in response to our new pursuit of comfort: exquisite design that satisfies everyone. We're going back to social life, but we want to feel protected. This series gives a rich variety of classic winter styles through a new loose-fitting shape and generous tailoring.

The new proposal perfectly combines understatement, tailoring and high-quality materials creating a wardrobe full of essentials that can be mixed and matched according to our personal mood of the moment. The lineup includes 42 models for women and 31 models for men. It features generous volumes, heavy fabrics and a color palette that focuses on basic tones such as white, black, navy, graphite, khaki and caramel with some red accents. Among the season's must-haves there will definitely be the brown coat, the asymmetrical jacket, the cozy turtleneck sweater, the maxi down jacket, the small blue caban and the pleated skirt, while the most versatile item is probably the black bomber jacket.
