T Party II at the Sozzani Foundation: a dialogue on gender identity, courage and community All the details on this year's appointment
On the occasion of Milan Pride Week, Fondazione Sozzani presents T Party II, a community meeting dedicated to the exploration of gender identity and what it means to live in a world where prejudice often speaks before people. Conceived and curated by Kay Kamakhya, the second edition of T Party will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2026 at 6 pm at the Sozzani Foundation in Via Tazzoli 3 in Milan and will bring together four trans voices from different fields: performing art, sport, queer culture and activism.
The T Party II program during Milan Pride Week 2026
The evening will open with a moderated round table in English, with simultaneous translation into Italian. The conversation will unfold through four central themes: courage, fear, love and community. T Party stems from a simple but fundamental question: what happens when we judge people without knowing them? The first edition, held in November 2025 on the occasion of the Trans Day of Remembrance, focused on trans women active in the fashion world, who had shared their professional and personal experiences within the sector. This second chapter expands the dialogue, including even more heterogeneous perspectives and experiences.
Who are the guests of the T Party II panel
Elias “Spy” Carlini is a 23-year-old trans male soccer player, a student of Theoretical Physics and Philosophy of Physics at the State University of Milan. Play in the Bə Team, the first Italian 5-a-side soccer team composed entirely of trans and non-binary people, a project promoted by the Open Milano Calcio Association. His perspective reframes the debate with a significant reflection: “The opposite of fear is not courage. It's desire.”
Trysha is a trans performance artist, drag performer and fashion designer. Through the Trashy Couture project, she transforms waste materials into wearable narratives, combining upcycling, fashion and performance to explore themes such as identity, vulnerability and transformation.
Elia Botticchio, a student of Modern Literature at the State University of Milan, is a Bə Team athlete and co-founder of Spazio Orlando, a cultural initiative that observes contemporaneity through the lens of the lived queer experience.
Laura Pereira, model, activist and winner of the Miss Trans Global 2025 title, lives in Italy after being born in Brazil. His work focuses on issues of visibility and advocacy, promoting authenticity and representation. As she herself says: “The best time to plant a tree was yesterday. The second best time is today.”
Kay Kamakhya curates and moderates the meeting
The meeting will be curated and moderated by Kay Kamakhya, curator, cultural producer and founder of Kurated. Based in Milan, Kay develops projects, events and experiences that intertwine storytelling, community and cultural impact in the world of fashion and communication.
The key questions at the center of the conversation
Four questions will guide the dialogue between the guests:
- Courage — What did you want so badly to pursue it despite your fear?
- Fear — What was fear made of and what prevented it from taking over?
- Love — Have you ever felt excluded from a space that should have been yours?
- Community — What unites us, even when our experiences are different?
The partners of T Party II between set design and tasting experience
Burroeolio, a project by Anna Kytövuori and Carolina Toto, returns as a partner for the design set, bringing to the stage clear glass and fresh flowers to evoke the lightness of the summer season. The tastings will instead be curated by PARABU, founded by Eleonora Berluti, with a non-alcoholic proposal based on rose, elderflower, mint, basil, cardamom, black tea and lemon.
The cultural mission of the Sozzani Foundation
