Two Sicilian-born brands, two family stories united by the same passion for quality, tradition and beauty. LùBar and Caffè Moak strengthen their creative partnership at LùBazar, the new LùBar space dedicated to the island’s artisanal excellence, where scents, flavors and memories of Sicily come to life in the heart of Milan.

The collaboration between the two companies stems from a bond built over time. “We’ve been working with Lucrezia and the whole family for several years: there is a relationship of absolute esteem but also great affection,” says Rosellina Amoroso. “We come from the same place, we speak the same language. Origins don’t lie.” Everything started from this shared ground: “One day Ludovico, Lucrezia’s brother, calls me and says: I have something beautiful to propose to you. He puts me in touch with her, and I still didn’t know about the opening of this incredible space. We immediately fell in love with the idea: the best partner, they told me, could be coffee itself. A universal, convivial product that would have deep meaning here.”

Today, this synergy takes shape with the presence of Moak products inside the new LùBazar, a testament to a shared vision that merges authenticity, creativity and common roots. Located at via dell’Orso 5, in the heart of Brera, LùBazar is much more than a store: it is a journey through Sicilian artisanal excellence, carefully curated to tell the story of a land rich in culture, creativity and passion. Inside the space, visitors will find Moak blends and a selection of products from the brand’s gourmet line, a collection that encapsulates Mediterranean flavor and identity. Jams and chocolate accompany the pleasure of coffee in a narrative made of aromas, sweetness and tradition.

Among the unique features is a tribute to the origins of the coffee trade: the option to purchase freshly ground coffee by the gram. “We wanted to return to the origins of what roasting truly is,” explains Rosellina Amoroso. “Today we are all used to capsules, to fast products. But speaking the same language, sharing the same love for our land, we said to ourselves: why not bring back the shops of the past? This space is romantic, almost a bit Parisian. Hence the idea of roasting and grinding the coffee on the spot: a poetic gesture that restores freshness and rituality.”

A gesture that also carries an emotional dimension. “The moka pot is a shared memory for all of us: the smell of coffee on a Sunday morning, the scent that woke you up at your mother’s or grandmother’s house. It’s a return to our roots, to adolescence. Taking time for yourself in a city that never stops: it’s poetry, we are eternal dreamers,” adds Lucrezia Bonaccorsi. This attention to craftsmanship is a value shared by both brands. And Rosellina Amoroso concludes: “We believe deeply in artisanal work. All our products come from a supply chain made of small producers and careful sourcing. Grinding coffee to order reflects this: the time you dedicate to your coffee, the value of waiting, a luxury Milan often doesn’t allow. It feels like going back to Sicily, where everything moves at a slower pace.”
