For HEY Pilates, this winter's goal is wellness From Zerobody Cryo to Kobido, HEY Pilates introduces a recovery protocol

Born in 2024 in the heart of Milan, HEY PILATES combines Pilates, technology and performance in an integrated approach to caring for both body and mind. The studio was created to go beyond the limits of traditional Pilates and introduce a new language of movement: technical, measurable and oriented toward real results.

Founded by Chiara M. Castejon, a Milan-based entrepreneur born in ’92, HEY PILATES stems from a personal path of transformation and a clear vision: to present Pilates as a true sport discipline, capable of developing functional strength, control, awareness and performance. HEY PILATES is a space for those who want to build a strong, reactive and present body.

In their Milan studio, recovery is considered an essential part of performance. It is not the classic moment of post-workout relaxation, but an active process that helps the body adapt better to effort, reduces fatigue and keeps the mind clear. The advanced HEY protocol includes treatments designed precisely for this: helping the body regenerate more efficiently and sustainably. Zerobody Cryo, Kobido Face Massage and Kinesio Taping are three tools that act on different levels — thermal, muscular and sensory — complementing what happens during training.

Zerobody Cryo

Zerobody Cryo brings cold therapy into a more accessible form: a water bed covered by a membrane that allows you to float at 4–6°C without getting immersed. The effect is similar to nitrogen cryotherapy or an ice bath, but without the traumatic impact. The cold triggers an immediate physiological response: regeneration, detoxification and metabolic rebalance. Users report reduced muscle pain, a sense of lower stress, more stable sleep quality and improved circulation.

The Japanese Kobido Technique

Kobido is not just a face massage, but a deeper work on circulation, tension and muscle tone. Traditional Japanese techniques blend with more modern manual skills, using precise gestures and targeted products. The result is a smoother and brighter complexion, and a general feeling of lightness that often disappears after intense training. Here, recovery is not a “beauty moment” but a way to restore balance and release areas that accumulate tension.

Kinesio Taping is a simple yet effective technique. An elastic tape is applied to targeted areas such as shoulders, back, legs, knees, wrists or ankles, in order to stimulate drainage and support the musculature without limiting movement. Its strength lies in continuity: the tape works while you move, improving circulation and reducing strain on fatigued areas. It only takes fifteen minutes to apply, and it is especially useful after a workout to prevent fatigue from turning into stiffness.
