alo, a fashion and lifestyle brand centered on mind and body wellness, is proud to announce its debut in the Italian market with the first alo Sanctuary in Rome. The flagship store officially opened on December 19, 2025 on Via del Babuino, marking another step in alo’s global expansion across Europe and Asia. With Rome as the twelfth alo store in Europe, the launch highlights the brand’s growing international influence while introducing a new expression of Los Angeles’ wellness culture in one of the world’s most iconic fashion capitals.

alo’s new opening in the brand’s own words

“The energy of Italy perfectly aligns with the world we are building at alo,” said Summer Nacewicz, EVP of Marketing & Creative. “Its deep connection to craftsmanship, wellness, and beauty reflects the lifestyle of our global community. Producing our new bags in Italy offered us a privileged perspective on the artisanal skills that support the country’s role in fashion. For us, entering this market isn’t just about opening new stores. It’s about joining a culture that lives and breathes quality, intention, and the art of living well.”

The Rome alo flagship

Located near the iconic Piazza di Spagna and nestled among the city’s historic cobblestone streets and neoclassical facades, the new alo flagship alo in Rome offers a striking dialogue between modernity and timeless craftsmanship. The space is conceived as a sanctuary that echoes the capital’s rich artistic heritage, integrating original brickwork, sculptural friezes, and natural textures that create an elegant contrast with alo’s contemporary interpretation of the Air, Land, Ocean ethos. Architectural details include arched passages and a thoughtful balance of soft and structured materials, in harmony with the rhythm of Rome itself. Spanning 6,921 square feet across two levels, the flagship provides a spacious and refined environment, carefully designed to inspire movement, mindfulness, and community connection.

The alo ecosystem extends beyond the store

With the Rome flagship, alo brings its full ecosystem to Italy, offering premium apparel, wellness essentials, fitness accessories, and a VIP private shopping experience. As part of the brand’s mission to build authentic communities centered on movement worldwide, alo will also launch the alo Runners Club in Rome, debuting during the opening weekend with local wellness leader Anna Shengeliia leading a scenic city run that combines moving meditation with alo’s elevated approach to performance and style.
