In 2025, cool girls wear a fake bald head in honor of Pitbull. A phenomenon to be observed.

A cluster of clouds gathers on the horizon. They’re not dark storm clouds, but there’s a sense in the air that something big is about to happen. You hear it growing louder: a song, and you’re not quite sure where it’s coming from. Maybe straight from the sky, from the very air we breathe. It goes something like this: "Tonight, I want all of you tonight / Give me everything tonight / For all we know / We might not get tomorrow, let's do it tonight." Ring a bell? It’s one of Pitbull’s biggest hits, and somehow, quickly, mysteriously, hilariously, he’s become a girls’ idol. So much so that many of them, to attend his concerts across Europe and the world, dress up like him, fake bald head included. Have you seen the TikTok videos? Dale!

The TikTok trend: going to Pitbull concerts wearing a fake bald head, or bald cap

Pitbull clearly has us all in the palm of his hand. King of fun and motivational one-liners (been there, done that), he’s slowly become a TikTok icon. Maybe it’s his love for sunglasses, maybe it’s his ultra-catchy beats that get stuck in your head, or maybe it’s just that we desperately need some fun and offline community. Whatever the reason, starting - who knows how or from where, probably a TikTok video - the Pitbull wave took off. The idea? Dress like him every time you go to his concert: bald cap, sunglasses, black tie over white shirt, and a goatee sketched on with eyeliner. The trend has gone global and even reached Pitbull himself, who now greets his "baldies" from the stage. Sometimes, we all need a little wholesomeness.

We are cringe, but we are free

And so, somewhere between irony and sincerity, we celebrate this community movement, this spontaneous flash mob, this TikTok trend that has broken free of the platform to take over arenas and concert venues worldwide. This joyful desire to look ridiculous on purpose, to laugh, to have fun. While the world implodes (and we are privileged enough to feel its effects only indirectly, between one doom meme and another), salvation can be found only in awareness and in community. Now all we can do is hope that Mr. Worldwide adds Milan - or anywhere in Italy - to his tour. We’ll be there, front row, crooked tie and a sweaty bald cap over our flowing locks.
