Cecilie Bahnsen and Asics SportStyle unveil the new chapter of their collaboration with the launch of the GEL-QUANTUM™ 360 I sneaker

Cecilie Bahnsen and Asics SportStyle unveil the new chapter of their collaboration with the launch of the GEL-QUANTUM™ 360 I sneaker. A reinterpretation of the iconic model that combines ASICS’ technical innovation with Bahnsen’s distinctive language of contemporary femininity.
The collaboration between Asics and Cecilie Bahnsen
Minimalist yet highly refined, the GEL-QUANTUM™ 360 I sneaker explores a new expression of everyday performance footwear. The silhouette has been transformed into a lace-free slip-on construction, designed to offer practicality, comfort, and functionality in the rhythm of contemporary life. Created for a fluid fit, the shoe moves naturally between function and style. Despite its essential aesthetic, the design stems from a complex and highly sophisticated development process. Reduced to its essence, every detail has been precisely calibrated to achieve a balance between softness and structure. "Although the shoe appears minimal, almost spontaneous in its expression, it is actually the most complex to perfect," says Cecilie Bahnsen, founder and creative director. "Beneath its simplicity lies a careful balance that leaves no room to hide, only the honesty of form and the quiet precision of function. Simplicity, when authentic, demands more than decoration ever could."
The floral motif and the language of femininity
A central element of the project is the integration of Bahnsen’s iconic floral motif. Delicately embedded into the shoe’s construction, the pattern creates a tactile and visual expression of femininity, offering a subtle contrast with ASICS’ performance foundations. The collaboration is available in two colorways: a soft powder pink and a timeless black. Marking an important milestone in the partnership, the powder pink version represents the first fully soft pink shoe in the Cecilie Bahnsen x Asics collaboration—a new exploration of a shared creative universe that has long been in development. "Color plays with the world we’ve built together and is something we’ve wanted to realize for a long time, now finally brought to life," adds Bahnsen.
ASICS technology and comfort
The GEL-QUANTUM™ 360 I retains ASICS’ renowned 360-degree GEL™ cushioning technology, ensuring advanced comfort and impact absorption to support movement throughout the day. Anima Sana In Corpore Sano, meaning “a sound mind in a sound body,” is the ancient Latin phrase from which the name ASICS derives and represents the core principle the brand still follows today. The company was founded in 1949 by Kihachiro Onitsuka and is now one of the leading designers, developers, and manufacturers of running shoes, as well as sports footwear, apparel, and accessories.
The campaign
The campaign was shot in Devon, United Kingdom, featuring model Florence Huntington-Whiteley in her family home. Captured in her natural environment alongside her two dogs, the series of images reflects a balance between wild nature and inner calm, in line with the ASICS philosophy Sound Mind, Sound Body. The campaign explores her personal rituals and her daily relationship with movement.
