Rubinacci has launched its first ready-to-wear women's collection The lifestyle journey between past and present told at the trunk show on October 7

Rubinacci, founded in 1932 by Gennaro Rubinacci, occupies an important place on the timeline of the history of high tailoring. The Neapolitan fashion house is known all over the world for men's ready-to-wear with a casual chic character. On October 7, he added a new chapter to his visual story, focusing on the female universe. “The women's collection is nothing more than a natural process in our growth,” says creative director Luca Rubinacci who, together with his sisters Chiara, Alessandra and Marcella, enthusiastically followed the new challenge. “In recent years, we have seen a strong increase in the world of tailor-made products. More and more women were looking for a product of the highest quality, capable of reflecting their ideas and style. It is from this need that the ready-to-wear line was born,” the creative explained again.
Language does not change: it is reinterpreted
Women's leaders have therefore not represented unexplored territories alien to historical reality, but they have been genuinely integrated. Precisely for this reason, the goal is not to create a new language, but to transfer the stylistic codes of the existing one to the feminine. For example, the famous double-breasted blazer has become the protagonist, with wider lines and a deliberately masculine attitude. The collection is essential: few imaginative pieces to be strategically combined with each other on different occasions night. “Not a collection to consume, but a wardrobe to be built according to a philosophy that favors versatility, quality and durability,” underlines the CEO.
Everything about the new collection: the details of the event to discover
On October 7, a selection was presented that encompasses all seasons: 365 days by Rubinacci. A journey between past and present that also tells a lot about the family legacy of the brand that has worn important names such as that of Vittorio de Sica. In fact, the date chosen is not random, but it coincides with the birthday of Mariano Rubinacci, son of the founder Gennaro and a central figure in the international success of the fashion house. The collection will be available from the Spring-Summer season in the ateliers of Naples, Milan and London and through official online channels. Some historic items from the Rubinacci Museum were also exhibited for the occasion, such as a double-breasted coat in white and gray wool made by the brand in 1936 for King Umberto of Savoy.
