Summer has finally arrived, and we couldn't wait. Yes, because let's face it: this autumn / winter 20/21 season was not exactly what we hoped for. The return of the pandemic really challenged us. All this accumulated tension, created in us the need to leave... even only with our mind! Imagine ourselves on a desert island or as tourists in a big metropolis, anywhere, as long as it is an escape from reality.
Therefore, freedom and lightness are undoubtedly the vibes of this summer, a necessity that is easily reflected in the 2021 swimwear clothing. more hidden, rejecting any kind of constraint. And it is for this reason that beach looks are the ones that we will show off with more pleasure: long dress, kaftan and pareo skirt are the must-haves of this summer.
Long dress
Therefore, to offer the most romantic version of the cover-up, it is clearly the long dress, which softly slides along the entire female silhouette, enhancing it. This comes in two versions: the timeless and classic one in lace, and the contemporary one in crochet, the trend of SS21 that literally made everyone fall in love.
Mini dresses & kaftans
Not only maxi and long dresses play a fundamental role among the 2021 beach fashion trends, but there is also room for mini dresses in soft and shiny Indian silk or with boho-chic patterns, or again wide caftans with butterfly sleeves with a fit super comfy.
Pareo-skirt
The pareo is back in the spotlight, better if matching with swimwear. In fact, to prove its comeback is the new trend of the skirt with a side knot, a super chic afternoon/evening version suitable for a happy hour with friends or a dinner with your loved one.
To express the need to feel wilder and the need for contact with nature, however, is not only the model of the dress or the model itself, but also the trendiest prints and colors. If we talk about evergreen, we are undoubtedly referring to the floral/tropical mood, in which large flowers and leaves in bright colors are highlighted on single-colored backgrounds. When we talk about novelties, however, it is necessary to mention prints with paisley motifs, and with "toile de jouy" designs that represent landscapes, similar to ancient eighteenth-century ceramics. As for the colors, the earthy shades during the summer season can only prevail: starting from orange, then from vibrant colors, to warmer shades of brown. The bright colors like pink and lime green, of course, are always welcome. Last but not least, in the general framework, a space remains dedicated to the key summer color, white, which can never be missing in our summer wardrobe, and in this case also in our suitcase.
