Valentine's Day 2021 is far from what we anticipated it to be, though it is not possible for most to spend time with friends and partners. But that doesn’t stop us from rocking the freshest V-Day kicks for the special occasion.
This year our favorite sneaker brands took a more toned-down approach, with many of these sneakers dressed in little to none of the popular romantic colors, red and pink. Although New Balance and Nike did not hold back! Both going for colorways that were bold and vibrant.

NEW BALANCE 57/40 “Pink Glo”
Starting with possibly the brightest sneaker on this list and one of New Balance's newest models, the 57/40. This upgraded version of the 574 was recently launched in January and has already had a plethora of vibrant colours. Coming In a fuchsia upper and cherry red midsole, this sneaker is a real eye-catcher. Unnoticeable when worn, but on inside you will find “The Romantic Choice” written on the back of the tongue tab.
NIKE Air Force 1 & Air Max 90 Valentine’s Day Pack
Almost every year the swoosh brand takes a different approach to producing a new iteration of a V-day Air Force 1, this time partnering the AF1 with its distant cousin the Air Max 90. Decked out in tulip pink suede, white leather and a touch of uni red, the duo are very much the same. Subtle details include the eye lets on the AM 90, and holes on the toe box of the AF 1, are the shape of tiny hearts instead of the standard circle.
ADIDAS x Swarovski Valentine's Day Collection
Adidas and the well-known Swarovski jewellery company are collaborating to bedazzle another adidas silhouette. Taking the Sambarose, the modernised Samba model, and keeping it simple and clean. With the inclusion of a charm encrusted with crystals added to the shoelaces, the sneaker comes in an all-white base and aqua blue stripes. Not your typical Valentines colours, but a sneaker that is perfect for the summer!
REEBOK Club C 85 Valentine's Day
Contrary to your typical Reebok Club C, for Valentine’s Day the midsole is coloured in a deep scarlet, whilst the rest of the sneaker sports a chalk white tumbled leather. Stitched hearts on the tongue and heel. The "To:" and "From:" in one of the sock-liners add a personal touch. Plus, the heel tabs feature a premium pony hair material, it’s all about the details!
PUMA Future Rider Galantine’s Day
Just a day before the loved-up couples celebrate, its Galantine’s day. A day to commemorate the fearless females all over the world! Puma creates a Galantine’s edition of their Future rider. Like many of 2021’s V-Day sneakers, its kept minimal with a white upper and red piping running alone the midsole. Including adorable lace jewels and "GRL PWR" tab labels, in tribute to strong women everywhere.
