Miu Miu presents the digital project #MiuMe The brand invites celebs and fans around the world to use their smartphones to film themselves in their homes

Stuck at home in these weird and uncertain times, we have all been forced to find new ways of entertaining ourselves. Luckily, the fashion brands, from Jacquemus to Dior, have helped us launching every day new challenges, podcasts and initiatives to distract us from the global crisis that plagued us.

Miu Miu does it in a special way, thinking of all those who, with so much spare time and nothing else to do, go through their wardrobes, rediscovering forgotten pieces and trying them on again with a fresh eye. The #MiuMe project invites everyone to use their mobile phones to film themselves in their home environment wearing Miu Miu clothes and accessories. You can participate by sharing your video on Instagram by tagging @MiuMiu and adding the hashtag #MiuMe.

Stuck indoors in these strange and uncertain times, we have been forced to find new ways of entertaining ourselves. And some of us with unexpected time on our hands and a lack of anything else to do have found ourselves going through our wardrobes, rediscovering forgotten pieces and trying them on again with a fresh eye. Starting today, #MiuMe invites a diverse cross-section of people from around the world - notable figures from the realms of sport, art, dance, and fashion, as well as #MiuMiu fans responding to a call-out on @Instagram - to use their mobile phones to film themselves in their environment. Feel free with your own bits from Miu Miu collections past or present, mix it up in ways you normally wouldn’t and share it with us by tagging @MiuMiu and #MiuMe. Kicking off #MiuMe here is @Harriet.Verney, 27 fashion editor from Stroud (UK), contacting us via FaceTime. Harriet wears dress (Croisière 2019), socks (Autumne 2015), shoes (Fall/Winter 2017) and glasses (Spring/Summer 2017) all by Miu Miu.⠀ ⠀⠀ Art direction by @kegrand.⠀⠀ Film by @callthis_number (@Steve__Mackey + @DouglasHartFilm).

The idea is to celebrate freedom of expression, presenting ourselves in front of other people in the way we prefer, elevating the "selfie" to a statement of your identity and your particular sense of self.
Each video will give a personal show of everyday life that comes from the homes of different players around the world. These FaceTime moving self-portraits will be collected and edited for the first phase of the project.
