Have you noticed? Madame is back The new album is titled "Disincanto", and the posters say it (almost) all
In case you hadn’t noticed, Madame is back. After a 3-year break during which a lot (a lot) has happened, the Italian singer is ready to reclaim the space she left behind with a new album titled Disincanto, available everywhere starting today, April 17. Leading up to its release, a series of striking billboards covered Milan and Vicenza, her hometown. The question remains the same: what is the price? Of love, of change, of growth, of music.
Madame’s new album: themes, title and singles
Disincanto starts from here, from a price and a transformation, from a deep reflection on the idea that even the most important things, those we define as “priceless” and therefore assign immense value to, are not actually free, but imply an exchange, a compromise. It’s a layered and multifaceted reflection that leaves room for personal interpretation, that engages the viewer. A reflection that Madame returns to throughout all the tracks on the album, unafraid to express it in raw and honest words. The three singles that preceded the album are a clear demonstration of this. We’re talking about the track that gives the album its title, Disincanto, as well as OK and Rosso come il fango, which followed shortly after.
If we put together the images and the words, the picture is clear: disenchantment is the breaking point that each of us is bound to face at least once in life if we want to reach true awareness. This album explores its many facets and paths, from the enchanted phase to the fracture and ultimately to rebirth. Without ever stopping to ask questions.
