Pride House Milano 2026: sport, culture and LGBTQIA+ rights at MEET Digital Culture Center On the occasion of the Olympic and Paralympic Games
From February 6 to 22, 2026, the MEET Digital Culture Center on viale Vittorio Veneto 2 will host Pride House Milano, a home open to the entire city, created to show how sport can become a space for connection, alliance, and awareness around the rights of the LGBTQIA+ community. Pride House celebrates people and their stories, promoting the values of unity, respect, and inclusion that guide the Olympic and Paralympic Games. The initiative is organized by Arcigay, the national association committed to protecting LGBTQIA+ rights, together with CIG Arcigay Milano, which has been working for over forty years toward a more inclusive city and organizes Milano Pride, and in collaboration with Pride Sport Milano, which brings together 23 LGBTQIA+ teams across 11 different sports.
The Cortina Olympics are (also) rainbow-colored
Every day, from Tuesday to Sunday, the MEET lounge will host conversations, talks, and firsthand experiences with athletes who carry forward a message of courage and authenticity. Visitors will be able to follow competitions live, breathing in that mix of tension and excitement that only sport can deliver. On Friday and Saturday evenings, the MEET theater will come alive with cinema, art, and storytelling that amplify the dialogue between culture and rights.
With a focus on the Milan area
The Pride House Milano 2026 connects with some of the most vibrant realities of the city’s cultural and LGBTQ+ scene, including the MiX International LGBTQ+ Film Festival and Queer Culture, Lecite Visioni, the LGBTQ+-themed theater series at Teatro Filodrammatici, and Milano Oltre, the festival of dance and performing arts. A network that reflects the image of a curious, open, and constantly moving city.
The Milan edition also takes shape thanks to collaborations with international partners such as ILGA, the world’s largest association for LGBTQ+ rights, Compete Proud, an authoritative voice on sport and LGBTQ+ rights, and Fier-Play, organizer of the Pride House at the 2024 Olympic Games. From Vancouver 2010 to Paris 2024, Pride Houses have shown how sport can be a powerful vehicle for awareness and connection. In Milan, the goal is the same: to increase the visibility of LGBTQ+ rights, foster new connections, and promote a more equitable and welcoming sporting environment.
