Havaianas reaches new heights with the Kitten Heel design, the next contemporary icon makes its debut at Copenhagen Fashion Week Spotted for the first time on the runway of Studio Constance's SS27 collection, the new silhouette gave a preview of the next chapter of Havaianas style

Havaianas has taken its first steps towards a new chapter of its design on the occasion of Copenhagen Fashion Week. Inspired by the concept of Taking New Heights, the brand has built its presence naturally over the last few seasons, moving from a consolidated reference point for street style to an integral part of the Copenhagen fashion calendar. This new journey begins with the first appearance of the Havaianas Kitten Heel on the runway of Studio Constance's Spring/Summer 2027 collection, presenting an unexpected interpretation of the brand's iconic stylistic language.
The new Kitten Heel Havaianas from the runway to the world: the experience at Copenhagen Fashion Week
The show saw Havaianas star in 25 looks, combining the new silhouette with selected classic models. The collection was able to merge the Brazilian identity of Havanaias with the contemporary Scandinavian vision of Studio Constanc and, presenting the brand in a fashion context that transmitted naturalness and innovation at the same time. The Kitten Heels then went off the catwalks to conquer the streets of Copenhagen. Selected creators, editors and stylists have worn the new model throughout the week, generating organic visibility in the city's street style. These include Livia Nunes, a leading figure in Brazilian fashion, who was spotted riding a Havaianas bike customized with Kitten Heels instead of the classic pedals. This playful detail has created a direct link between the new silhouette and the Copenhagen cycling tradition, transforming the streets into a traveling fashion moment and giving life to an unexpected visual image beyond the more traditional context of the runway.
The Havaianas event at Green Island
The day ended with the Havaianas event, which welcomed creators, journalists and members of the international fashion community, inside the Green Island in the port of Copenhagen. Inspired by the idea of From Sea Level to New Heights, the evening interpreted the brand's new chapter through a series of experiences related to products, music and content. The event was completed by impressive installations, Brazilian music for an immersive and personalized floating experience, in collaboration with the jewelry brand AKVA.
Havaianas' first heeled model
The Havaians Kitten Heel took center stage during the week, as the brand's first heeled model. The design reinterprets the iconic structure of the Havaianas flip-flop in a contemporary key, combining the characteristic reinforced toe with an asymmetric low elliptical heel. Presented in black, off-white and bright green colors, the silhouette also incorporates the distinctive Havaianas rubber insole, bringing a characteristic element of the brand to the new design. “Havaianas, over the past few seasons, has established a very natural relationship with Copenhagen Fashion Week. The brand was very spontaneously welcomed by the fashion community, so this seemed like the right time to carry on this relationship. The Kitten Heel represents a new design concept for Havaianas, while remaining faithful to the simplicity, authenticity and Brazilian spirit that have always characterized the brand,” says Maria Fernanda Albuquerque, Global Vice President of Marketing at Havaianas.
