The Beauté Louis Vuitton marks a turning point in the history of the fashion house. For the first time, the French fashion house presents a limited-edition beauty collaboration born from the agreement between Nicolas Ghesquière, Artistic Director of the women's collections, and Pat McGrath, Creative Director of Cosmetics. Inspired by two famous variants of the fashion house's motif and designed to celebrate the 130th anniversary of the famous symbol, the line is divided into two distinct chromatic and conceptual universes: Monogram Dune and Monogram Infrarouge. Two ways of being and of telling themselves that represent the different facets of the Louis Vuitton woman, united by a passion for craftsmanship, savoir-faire and the charm of travel.

For over twenty years, Pat McGrath has been the mastermind behind the make-up of Louis Vuitton fashion shows, able to translate the inspiration of each collection into looks that complete its character, attitude and emotion. With the arrival of Nicolas Ghesquière as artistic director, this confrontation turned into a deep and spontaneous understanding. Ghesquière explained how beauty has always been a complementary element to his conception of the silhouette, a fundamental detail to complete the aesthetics and emotion of every look. With the birth of La Beauté Louis Vuitton, the goal is to extend this vision beyond the runway, offering contemporary women the opportunity to express their identity even in everyday life. For his part, Pat McGrath emphasized that the collaboration was not born from a simple product development brief, but from a pure shared feeling, the same energy that has accompanied their work backstage before each show for years. For the famous make-up artist, this project does not represent a collaboration in the traditional sense of the term, but rather the natural evolution of their common artistic path.
A creative dialogue between runway and everyday beauty
The collection explores feminine duality through two canvases and two opposing characters that coexist in harmony: delicacy and strength, light and shadow, revelation and mystery. The result is a limited-edition proposal for eyes and lips that tells two distinct but complementary stories, designed to offer a complete range of shades, from the most intimate to the most daring.
Monogram Dune and Monogram Infrarouge: the two souls of the collection
Monogram Dune represents the world of discreet force and poetic luminosity. Inspired by the changing beauty of desert landscapes, where light continuously redefines colors and depths, this line is designed for a woman who moves around the world with elegance and natural confidence. Delicate beiges and sun-warmed nude tones define the palette, consisting of the LV Ombres 724 Monogram Dune eye palette, the LV Rouge 724 Monogram Dune satin lipstick and the LV Baume 098 Stellar Veil topper lip balm, created to capture light. On the contrary, Monogram Infrarouge is the universe of intensity and decisive femininity. If the Dune line offers soft tones, Infrarouge chooses to declare itself with force. Inspired by the dramatic nature of the homonymous canvas, characterized by a deep black illuminated by the brightest red, it is dedicated to a woman who loves contrasts and wears boldness naturally. The capsule includes the LV Ombres 715 Monogram Infrarouge eye palette, the LV Rouge 715 Monogram Infrarouge satin lipstick and the LV Baume 099 Galactic Veil topper lip balm. The limited-edition collection is available as a preview online starting August 20 and in all Louis Vuitton boutiques from August 27.
