The Vitae Fest Roma 2025 has transformed Parco Schuster into a space of connection and spirituality We talked about it with Mimì
Under the motto "Don’t burn bridges, become one", the Vitae Global Foundation brought together thousands of young people at the Vitae Fest Roma 2025, transforming Parco Schuster into a vast space of connection and spirituality. As part of the official Jubilee 2025 program, the festival was much more than a musical event: it was a collective invitation to rebuild trust and unity in a divided world. Through music, art, and faith, Vitae Fest offered an experience that deeply moved attendees, becoming a cultural platform for peace and hope. On stage, both Italian and international artists performed - Padre Guilherme, Benji & Fede, Settembre, Aka7even, Mimì, Lowrah, and W1nk0 - joined by host and special guest Mariasole Pollio. Together, they created an evening filled with emotion, authenticity, and dialogue.
Mimì at Vitae Fest Roma 2025: the interview on the eve of her performance
Among the most anticipated performers, singer-songwriter Mimì captivated the audience with her powerful voice and authenticity. Freshly selected for Sanremo Giovani 2025, the artist took the stage with her new single Chakra, a track she describes as “a fun and lighthearted turn, yet deeply personal.” Here’s what she told us during a chat on the eve of Vitae Fest Roma 2025: “The single was born a year ago, even before my experience on X Factor. It came about spontaneously, among friends and creativity. For me, it represents a new beginning, the moment I realized my music was truly starting to connect with people,” she said.
In that last sentence - about connecting with people - lies the essence of Mimì’s approach (and arguably that of Vitae Fest itself) toward music and her audience. When asked to define her music, Mimì uses two words: “So far, music for me has been about discovery. I love experimenting, understanding who I am through that process, jumping between genres. For the future, I’d say it’s all about empathy. Empathy is the feeling that drives me: I want to tell real stories, share emotions, and help listeners feel understood.”
Mimì on the values of Vitae Fest
It’s no surprise, then, that she performed in a setting centered on reconciliation and connection. “I fully identify with the values of Vitae Fest. I’m a person deeply connected to life and to others. I love creating authentic moments, making the audience feel part of something unique. My music is born from genuineness and unity - just like this festival.” Finally, with a smile, she shared a piece of advice for her fans attending future editions: "Wear comfortable shoes, dance, and live in the moment. These moments won’t come back, and that’s exactly what makes them eternal.”
