On the occasion of its tenth anniversary, the 2787 perfumery house presents the Archive Edition, a limited-edition collection consisting of seven fragrances created behind the scenes over the last decade and unveiled for the first time only now. Over time, 27 87 has built a real archive of compositions: experiments, variations and olfactory ideas that, despite being complete, had never been launched. Not because they were unfinished, but because they belonged to a different time or were simply waiting for the right one. With the Archive Edition, seven of these fragrances finally enter the present. Not as a retrospective, but as the natural continuation of a creative vision shaped over time.
The contemporary artistic perfumery of 27 87 celebrates 10 years
Since its inception, 27 87 has interpreted contemporary artistic perfumery from a strongly independent perspective, considering perfume as an expressive medium rather than as a convention. At the core of the brand is the conviction that perfumery, like any form of art, is not defined by a definitive point of arrival, but by a continuous search for improvement and progress: a process in constant evolution, open to change and reinterpretation.
The fragrances of the Archive Edition
Rather than looking at the past, the collection activates the archive as a space for evolution, where ideas from the past meet the intuition of the present and where creation remains in continuous movement. The Archive Edition, therefore, brings together seven compositions developed between 2017 and 2025, each of which reflects a distinct phase in the evolution of the olfactory language of 27 87. From the sunny elegance of Flor de Tiaré to the molecular intimacy of Genetic Bliss Variation I, the collection crosses contrasting textures and atmospheres. Lavender is reinterpreted with a contemporary sensibility, while Mediterranean freshness is expressed through the aromatic and sparkling nuances of Gin Mare. Vetiver takes on a modern shape, balancing depth and elegance, while durian transforms an unexpected raw material into something daring and surprisingly refined. The series concludes with Waldmeister, who explores the delicate green sweetness of a rarely used botany.
Throughout the collection, familiar materials are reinterpreted from unprecedented perspectives. Some compositions reread traditional notes with precision and measure; others experiment with unusual ingredients or unexpected balances. What unites them is a common sensitivity: perfume as an expression of presence, rather than memory. Each fragrance exists independently, but together they build an olfactory timeline made of experimentation, curiosity and instinct, collected over ten years. All fragrances are presented in a completely silver bottle and will be available exclusively in a limited edition in the 87 ml format.
