Jacob Schwartz began by bleaching Bella’s hair with Schwarzkopf Professional Igora Vario Blond Super Plus at 20 volumes - a product formulated to prevent yellowing and maintain hair strength and elasticity. He then added lowlights - also known as reverse highlights - by darkening specific strands to enhance the base color. After the initial lightening, he applied Schwarzkopf Igora Royal Vibrance Tone at 6 volumes and left it on for 20 minutes. Then he washed the hair with Olaplex products and blow-dried it before performing another round of lightening. Next came the root and hairline definition using another Igora Vibrance Tone. Here’s a step-by-step recap of Schwartz’s process for creating Bella’s blonde:

1. Bleach with Schwarzkopf Professional Igora Vario Blond Super Plus (white powder) at 20 volumes across the entire head.
2. Add lowlights using Schwarzkopf Professional Igora Royal Vibrance Tone. Top: 7-55 + 7-0 with 6 volume. Ends: 8-0 + 9-55 with 6 volume.
