The benefits of sunscreen in the beauty routine

Using sunscreen as the last step of our skincare routine is a good habit that every person should have. If using sunscreen is important throughout the year, it is certainly essential and inevitable in spring and summer, and not only when taking a tan on the beach, but also in the city!

Our face is constantly exposed to the sun's rays, the main causes of diseases and aging of the skin. But let's go into more detail. The SPF, sun protection factor, protects the skin from UV, UVA and UVB rays. 
UV are ultraviolet rays, they are capable of distorting the DNA of skin cells and are carcinogenic. 
UVA rays are able to penetrate the dermis, the deepest layer of the skin, causing aging (and therefore wrinkles) and sun allergies. The last, but not least, are the UVBs. These are responsible for tanning, but also for sunburn and sunburn.

Sunscreen must be applied at least 15 minutes before sun exposure and is effective for about two hours. For this reason it is necessary to apply the cream several times a day to guarantee a continuous protective screen. It is also important for acne prone skin to be protected, to prevent scars from darkening and becoming spots.
