Case in point, her look for the 2025 Golden Globes: a gray custom-made Loewe suit, accessorized with a gold tie that resembled a feather. Or even a sharp double-breasted Alexander McQueen design for the premiere of The Bear at the 2022 Tribeca Festival. Edebiri’s suits bring an energy no dress can really replicate.

Attending the Time 100 Next gala on October 25, 2022, The Bear star graced the red carpet in Loewe's iconic balloon dress, channeling a more cheeky and playful sartorial attitude. Or take the actress' slogan t-shirt on SNL, which reads "AYO" and features Ireland's lucky charm, the four-leaf clover. It doesn't matter the place or the time, Edebiri always plays with fashion and delights us all — we are all obsessed with her whimsy, modern and defiant Thom Browne looks.

Trip down memory lane 

Quirky, innovative designs aside, the Opus star is also a fan of taking a trip down memory lane when it comes to her style. In photos shared, Edebiri poses in Jean Paul Gaultier's iconic red and beige trompe l'oeil long-sleeved shirt from Spring/Summer 1996, once worn by the late actor Robin Williams. And beyond vintage, the actress also knows how to channel the glamour of decades past, from promoting Inside Out 2 in 2024 in Dries Van Noten, with a hippie vibe straight out of the ‘70s, to a Loewe's Fall 2024 waistcoat and oversized cargo pants that oozed an energy from the sleek ‘90s.

Her look at last year's Met Gala didn't disappoint either. Edebiri walked the green and beige gradient steps in a custom Loewe floral lace halter gown with a backless silhouette and a rainbow gradient of flowers along the length of the skirt for the event, whose dress code was The Garden of Time. With the biggest fashion event taking place on the first Monday in May, it's already expected that Edebiri, with her unmistakable charm and playful, witty and quirky style, will be making an appearance on the steps of the Met.
