Emily in Paris is the series of the moment. Beloved or criticized, everyone talks about new Netflix project. At the center of attention are the clothes worn by Emily Cooper, the young marketing director of the Midwest who lives and works in Paris: a mix between the "2010 style" of Blair Waldorf of Gossip Girl and Andy of The Devil Wears Prada, Emily is often overdressed, earning from her colleagues the nickname of ringarde, French word that means basic.

Although the French judge the choices of stylist Patricia Field, the famous costume designer who also created the style of the four protagonists of Sex & The City, too full of clichés, those outfits made of bucket hats, colorful coats, minidress and it-bag have helped the show to become one of the most popular titles of the streaming platform.

Lyst has analyzed how the Netflix TV series with Lily Collins is influencing our shopping. The platform's team tried to understand what kind of online user appreciates the style of the protagonist in Italy and which are the garments that have most impacted the global interest. The results of the research established that, in Italy, the women most influenced by Emily's wardrobe are the over 35s and that only 12.4% of online users between 18 and 24 years old looked for clothes from the TV series.
