From up-and-coming millennials such as Bella Hadid, to more mature and timeless beauty icons such as Jane Fonda, who has combined the smooth and perfect ponytail with a clean and linear fringe, passing through Jennifer Lopez and Ariana Grande who have always been "addicted" to it, the ponytail is really loved by celebrities of all ages, who do not fail to choose it as the hairstyle to wear on various occasions, a clear sign that it is undoubtedly one of the chicest hairstyles of the moment.
Versatile and refined, the ideal ponytail starts with a brush and comb, which must rigorously eliminate all knots (a necessary step especially if the goal is a tight ponytail). It is important to brush the hair towards the back of the head, so: start by working backwards those on the top of the head, then tilt the torso forward and brush upwards those on the nape of the neck. With the help of your comb or brush, now gather your hair into a high ponytail. Hold them at the back of the head with one hand and with the other continue brushing to create a single tail. It is very important to apply a veil of serum or gel as you pull your hair back, to keep loose hair at bay and achieve a tidier result.
Now, tie the tail with a hairband by wrapping it around the base, then twist it into an "8", then pass the tail through the new loop. Repeat the movement until the tail is perfectly stable. Then take a strand of hair from under the tail and carefully wrap it around the elastic to hide it. Secure the end of the lock just below the tail with a hairpin in the same color as your hair. Last but not least, use hairspray for a long-lasting neat look. Spray a veil only on your head - and not on the tail - to fix your hairstyle and make it last longer. To keep any loose hair at bay, you can use a clean toothbrush and spray some hairspray on it, run the bristles over the unruly hair and voila, your tail is done!
