Acne Face Map: where and why pimples emerge? How to fight skin imperfections based on where they came from

According to Ayurveda and Chinese medicine, each part of the face corresponds to an organ. This means that mapping the face and its problems can help us understand the other parts of the body. In essence: to say goodbye to pimples & Co. is not enough just a correct skincare, but you must adopt a holistic approach in & out by changing diet or adapting it to your specific needs. This is a theory for which the location of acne breakouts is very often linked to their internal cause, the solution to which is to learn to "read" the skin to find the inner cause behind the skin imperfections. Here we explain what's behind each pimple, based on the area in which it pops up.

Forehead

This area is connected to the digestive system or bladder: it may therefore be necessary to consider a change in your eating habits starting with a substantial increase of water. Then try to eat less refined foods (flour but also sugar) and junk food. Also decrease the amount of fat in your diet. If, on the other hand, the pimples are between the eyebrows, it's the liver's fault: eliminate all fried foods, as well as alcoholic and super-alcoholic drinks and, as far as possible, even unnecessary medications.

Cheeks

Acne on the cheeks is related to the respiratory system, so it could be the alarm bell to use, for example, an air purifier in the house or put plants. Blemishes on this part of the face can also be due to cigarette smoke and/or pollution, which increase oxidative stress on the epidermis, promoting inflammation. Antioxidants can help you fight free radicals: new research has shown that taking them topically or orally helps prevent rashes. Use a serum containing antioxidants combined with supplements of zinc, a powerful anti-inflammatory.

Chin

Modern acupuncture links break outs in this area to hormone levels. It is therefore recommended to control them without forgetting another factor: stress. If the situation worsens or lasts over time, see a gynecologist and, if you can, sleep more and take more Omega 3. To prevent blemishes, a week before your period, do a peeling mask and use sebum-regulating cleansers morning and evening.

Nose

The center of the face is associated with the heart. Any redness or rash on the nose can be caused by stress. Learn stress-relieving exercises, such as deep breathing, to repeat throughout the day. Also be sure to get adequate rest and exercise to reduce excess cortisol and calm stress and skin.

Neck

This means your skin is fighting off bacteria. The recipe to make the evil boils disappear is based on vitamin C, plenty of water and above all a good night's sleep. Going to bed at regular hours will be a panacea. Good night!
