The Fenty by Amina Muaddi collection is coming soon Ready to shop?

It's just over six months since last December when Rihanna appointed Amina Muaddi shoe designer for Fenty. Now the result of the collaboration is about to hit the stores. The two partners announced it with a series of matching posts on Instagram, also revealing the date of the first drop: Wednesday, July 15. Amina published some shots of the making of the collection and thanked the pop star, while Riri, joking between the analogy of the image and the most popular monument in Paris, wrote:

Eiffel Tower who?! Next @fenty release is all about... SHOES ! Designed with @aminamuaddi Y’all ready? Dropping July 15th on FENTY.com.

Like Dua Lipa, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, Bella and Gigi Hadid or Hailey Baldwin, the singer instantly fell in love with the creations of Rumanian-Jordanian designer. It seems, in fact, that a moment after the presentation of her first shoe collection, she had several pairs bought by stylist Jahleel Weaver.  Since then Rihanna has worn sandals on several occasions, wanted them as an accessory for the latest Savage X Fenty fashion show and, finally, decided to hire the creative.

The new partnership definitely crowns Muaddi's project as the hottest footwear label on the market. Since it was founded in 2018, the brand has collected one success after another. Any examples? The MyTheresa capsule was an instant sold-out and Lyst included her Gilda sandals among last year's most sought-after women's products. Not even the pandemic and the consequent crisis that hit the fashion industry has affected her excellent results. On the contrary. According to a Business of Fashion report, Muaddi's creations have continued to sell out at luxury retailers, despite the price of about $800 per pair.

The Fenty x Amina Muaddi collection is still top secret. Surely it will reflect the designer's strong and hyper-feminine aesthetic and will be full of sandals and mules with the signature heels that recall an asymmetrical hourglass. According to the images that appeared on social media, the focus will be on a pair of "Caged In" sandals, in white and fuchsia, with high heels and laces that climb up to the calf.

The first drop of the collection will be available from July 15th on FENTY.com.
