The best beauty looks of the Milan Fashion Week Women's FW20 On the runways of Milan minimalistic looks lead the way

A very busy Milan Fashion Week has just come to an end, during which we saw all sort of things - and we are not just talking about makeup and collections. In fact, the Coronavirus alarm brought an atmosphere of anxiety and concern and has caused the cancellation of numerous events and demonstrations related to Fashion Week.

Despite this, all the fashion shows have been completed and many designers impressed us with extraordinary collections and beauty looks. Like every year, in Milan, we were fascinated by the romantic and sophisticated looks of the main Italian fashion houses. The beauty looks follow two fundamental guidelines: on the one hand combinations of more elaborate make-up and hairstyle, such as Moschino which drew inspiration from the hair of Marie Antoinette, or Marni and Vivetta that spread glitters on the face of the models, and on the other hand, more delicate and minimalistic looks as for Jil Sander, Bottega Veneta, Fendi, and most of the catwalks.

It was not easy, given the quantity and quality of the beauty looks of the Women's Fashion Week FW20 in Milan, but we selected the best ones according to nss G-Club. Ready?

VIVETTA

Vivetta chooses the artistic team of Giulio Panciera who creates a bold look with Korff products. Here are the secrets of this look: on an nude base, an "upside-down" glitter is applied, to cover the whole part under the eye instead of the upper eyelid, plus a volume effect mascara and a light veil of lip-gloss.
Must-have product: Korff Prodigious Mascara

MARNI

The beauty look for Marni's models is made up of two main elements: the glitter, which the artist Julien d'Ys has applied creatively and irregularly on the entire face of the models, and the ultra-sleek hair on which they applied glitter and textures of different colors. Even the glitter are offered in a color palette that ranges from gold, silver to pink and blue. A personal interpretation of Alice in Wonderland according to Francesco Risso.
Must-have product: Too Faced Liquid Glitter Eyeshadow

FENDI

Hairstylist Sam McKnight creates braided hair crowns gathered over the head of the models, decorated with headbands in leather, velvet and silk. The inspiration is classic and also cinematographic, as McKnight explains, models are "a little bit like Star Wars-style princesses, for a return to elegance with a hint of unexpected". Peter Philips's make up is simple, the focus is on the lips with a touch of burgundy.
Must-have product: YSL Burgundy Love Lipstick

PRADA

Once again Prada collaborates with Pat McGrath for the make-up, this time following the cyber beauty theme: after applying primer and highlighter to give brightness to the face, Pat creates a "strip" of metallic eyeshadow. The "robotic" look is finalized by the hairstylist Guido Palau who recreates rigidity on the hairline, decorated in some cases with golden headbands.
Must-have product: Pat McGrath Skin Fetish Highlighter & Balm Duo

JIL SANDER

For the models of Jil Sander, a classic and minimalist, super refined look was chosen: the hair is gathered in low ponytails and the make-up is nude, with a luminous complexion and a touch of sensual burgundy on the lips.
Must-have product: Aveda Styling Foam
