Alexia has returned to stay
"I Feel Feelings" is her new single, with a music video shot at the Armani Silos
November 15th, 2024
With an exclusive and wild party and a music video shot in the iconic, recognizable, and always appreciated spaces of Armani Silos, Alexia has returned to eurodance music, the genre of her beginnings. A long-awaited comeback that further solidifies her status as a central figure in the genre in Italy and internationally, following the pop and soul successes of Dimmi Come... and her win at the Sanremo Music Festival with Per dire no in 2003.
Alexia: Age, Songs, and Career
Her beginnings in the music world date back to 1989 when Alexia (born Alessia Aquilani, class of 1967) started working for the record label Euroenergy. Soon after, her first international hits arrived - from Summer Is Crazy to Uh la la la, including The Music I Like, Happy, and Goodbye. Between 2000 and 2002, she made a shift to singing in Italian. Her sixth album, simply titled Alexia, included hits like Dimmi Come... and the rest is history.
The "I Feel Feelings" Video Links Pop and High Fashion, Starting with the Styling
Now, the artist wants to return to her roots with I Feel Feelings, a dance track with a music video that, starting from the chosen outfits (vintage pieces by Giorgio Armani from the Privé lines of 2009, 2011, and 2015), aims to connect two seemingly opposing worlds. On one side, high fashion and couture archives; on the other, pop and dance music, accessible to all. These two realms, which appear so different, are actually closely linked and constantly interact, complementing each other. This artistic and visual choice is inspired by the musical groups of the early 2000s and seeks to create a continuum between Alexia’s beginnings and her present. And we can't wait to learn more about what’s to come.
