The playful vibe of the new genderless bags Blumarine Dna Sexy, funny and versatile in true Y2K style

Seduction. Lightness. Y2K style. The three cornerstones that characterize Blumarine fashion signed by Nicola Brognano are the protagonists of Blumarine Dna, the collection of exclusive bags that will be presented to the trade in January 2023 and available on the market from June, together with the Fall/Winter 2023 season. After seven seasons as Creative Director, Brognano is increasingly focused on expanding the brand, continuing the innovative and provocative path that, perfectly intercepting the taste of Gen Z, has brought Blumarine back among the most loved and interesting fashion realities of the moment. This is also emphasized by Marco Marchi, chairman of the board of directors of the Eccellenze italiane holding to which the fashion house belongs:

"Under the creative direction of Nicola, Blumarine has embarked on a path of strong international growth. The brand is today increasingly present in the major luxury department stores and global etailers. I am sure that the handbags project will further strengthen this path of growth and awareness of the brand, preparing us for the important future challenges."

Brognano's latest creations are true statement accessories, designed to increase awareness and empowerment in the person wearing them, while at the same time finding in an object all the values and characteristics that make the brand founded by Anna Molinari in 1977 unique. In the Kiss me bag, a baguette with an essential line that recalls the profile of lips, there is the girlish, playful attitude, full of expressive freedom of Blumarine, but contaminated with a utility and daily wear spirit, typically 2000s. The Butterfly bag is a mini bag that pays homage to the brand's iconic animal with its romantic and whimsical shape; while the Cargo bag is none other than a handbag-sized version of the most iconic trousers of the 2000s, recently returned to great popularity.  All three models, entirely made in Italy, will be available from June in two sizes, in denim, leather or patent leather in different color variants, from red to ultra violet, black to taupe, and the ever-present pink. Nicola Brognano is so enthusiastic about the result that he declares:

"I was eager to test myself on the bag category and I’m really happy with the result. The three different models are for me the perfect synthesis of the brand: genderless, full of energy, versatile and all very Blumarine. It will be an emotion to be able to see them worn by new consumers and brand supporters."
