What we can expect from the new EmRata podcast The model promises to talk about everything from politics and feminism to pleasure and TikTok

"That’s right, I finally have a podcast. I’m really fucking excited!". With these enthusiastic words, Emily Ratajkwoski announced on Instagram her next project, a podcast produced by Sony Music in which she will examine "pop culture and happenings that may seem frivolous in a way that raises big questions". Following the example of Kim Kardashian who, instead, will focus on true crime, the model has decided to diversify her activities and try another format to convey her thoughts on the contemporary cultural zeitgeist. After launching her own swimwear brand, starring in films, writing a powerful online essay, Buying Myself Back, about the exploitation of her image, which became the starting point for the bestseller My Body, and starring in recent fashion weeks, Emrata is ready for a new adventure in which the focus is no longer on her explosive beauty, but on her voice. Speaking to Variety, she explained that the podcast is a sort of natural evolution of the book, a way to delve into topics that interest her without the show being pretentious, but still full of things she finds interesting and important.

High Low With Emrata

Starting 1 November, Emily will keep us company with High Low With Emrata with two weekly episodes. Tuesdays will be devoted to intimate conversations with special guests, including prominent celebrities, authors, close friends, and people she admires; while on Thursdays, Ratajkwoski will talk about topics that interest her, from "politics and feminism to sex and TikTok," sharing her ideas through a monologue. Fans will also be able to subscribe to an exclusive third episode, High Low: Talk Back, in which listeners' comments and questions will be considered. The model's wish for her new project? To create a virtual space "where you can have fun and take part in thoughtful discourse".
