The first time she walked the red carpet Lindsay was only 12 years old, but in her light blue and silver little dress, she already showed the confidence of an experienced diva. After playing twins Hallie and Annie in The Parent Trap, her career was on the rise. Everyone wanted that little girl with big blue eyes, red hair and a cute little face full of ephelides. Disney cast her for Freaky Friday and Herbie: Fully Loaded, but it was the role of Cady Heron in Mean Girls, the new girl who just moved to town and wants to be part of Barbie, the most popular girls in school who "On Wednesdays, we wear pink" that made her a teen idol.

Time passed, Lindsay grew. The fame and the easy image of the star appearing at an official event in camo pants, tank top and flip flops started to feel uncomfortable. Lohan wanted to have fun and spent her days shopping with her Bff Nicole Ritchie and her nights dancing, flirting and drinking, as happened in 2007 during what became "the most legendary girls' night out ever". The paparazzi photos that portrayed her with Paris Hilton, her biggest frenemy, and Britney Spears, together in the car, went around the world. Just as the shots of her outfits, which were increasingly daring, became more numerous. Lilo left her Juicy Couture tracksuits and low-waisted jeans to wear, inspired by Marilyn Monroe (who has always been her main aesthetic reference), tight or balloon mini dresses, 1920s bangs, mini-skirts, glitter and, under the guidance of the stylist of the stars Rachel Zoe, she also opted for some boho-chic looks. Along with the clothes she often changed her hair color: from redhead she passed to blonde, then to brunette, then back to ginger. The former baby star seemed to be looking for an identity not only on an aesthetic level and got lost among bad decisions, drugs, alcohol and many legal troubles, starting in 2010 a downward parabola that led her to collect a criminal record that lasts until today. She continued to alternate between arrests (for reasons ranging from theft to drunk driving), trials and periods of rehab, trying, in vain, to find a balance and return to success.
