Christmas with the celebrities How Chiara Ferragni, Gigi Hadid, the Kardashian-Jenner clan and other stars have decorated their homes for the Holiday 2020 or in recent years. With a shopping guide to copy them.

Christmas is coming and even celebrities are getting ready to celebrate. Some have already decorated the tree at the end of November and filled every corner of the house with reindeer, stockings, candles, lights and Santa Claus, while others are waiting for the traditional December 8th. The thing that, however, all of them, from Chiara Ferragni to the Kardashian-Jenner clan, have in common is a great Christmas mood, often expressed with gigantic and luxurious decorations, able to recreate a real Winter Wonderland.

If you want to discover how Kylie Jenner, Gigi Hadid, Emma Roberts and the other stars celebrate in their villas, read on. At the end you will also find a selection of objects and decorations to copy their style.

Chiara Ferragni

To the great joy of the little ones of the house, Leone and Vittoria (who enjoys throwing the tree decorations on the ground), Chiara Ferragni was one of the first to inaugurate the Holiday Season 2022. The Christmas atmosphere already starts outside with a garland made of red balls of different sizes that, together with pine branches, surround the front door. In the living room there is an almost 3-metre fir tree decorated with smart LEDs that change colour via an app, bows, hearts, candy canes, nutcrackers and balls of different sizes in green, red and gold. All around the tree there is a cascade of packages wrapped in red paper and already a few small gifts waiting for the members of Italy's most popular family.

Gigi Hadid

Who knows how and with whom Gigi Hadid will spend the festive season, but when she was still partnered with Zayn Malik and had just become a mother, she gave fans a glimpse of the festive decorations at Mum Yolanda's farm in Pennsylvania. The tree was filled with balls and ornaments depicting the hobbies and passions of the model, her sister Bella and the rest of the family, such as a pink Game Boy, a cheeseburger, a cocktail glass, a skateboard, a mini electric guitar and, at the top, a star from Target's Christmas "Wondershop", decorated with the words 'Santa Stop Here' and lit up by a multi-colored LED projector. Scattered around the living room, the Christmas mood was completed by a red mailbox to post the wish list to ask Santa Claus, logs, snow-covered pine cones and lots of cushions wishing "Merry Christmas".

Kylie Jenner

Kylie Jenner is always among the first celebrities to decorate the house for the holidays. This week, the youngest of the Kardashian-Jenner clan posted on Instagram a preview of her 2020 decorations, a shot of her outdoors, in front of the big tree full of white lights next to the pit fire of her villa. What will the Christmas mood be like inside? We don't know yet, but it will be difficult for Kylie Cosmetics' founder to overcome last year's winter wonderland. The highlight of that setting was a giant fir tree over 5 meters long covered with fake snow and white ornaments of various sizes. A video tour shot by Kylie together with Stormi also showed the other Christmas-themed objects (many bought at Target) all over the house: from candles to the advent calendar, from ceramic houses to Santa Claus sculptures, from snowballs to toy cars.

Kris Jenner

Kris Jenner loves to describe herself as "the Queen of Christmas". Every year, she hosts amazing parties and turns the house into a luxurious version of the North Pole. In 2016 she reached the top of Christmas style, so much so that she was the star of an editorial on Architectural Digest: a bunch of giant nutcrackers, garlands, light-covered firs, stuffed reindeer, stockings hanging from the fireplace, gingerbread men.The highlights of the installation were two: the huge tree decorated with red, white and peppermint balls, under which stood an equally large ruby bear, and the table set with Scottish placemats, candles, plates decorated with snowmen, golden cutlery and many red roses hanging from the chandelier.

Beckham Family

Despite her nickname, Posh Spice, Victoria Beckham's Christmas style is definitely more "homemade" and fun. The designer and her whole family spend the vacations in the country residence in the Cotswold, where, between a drink, a movie and a visit to Santa Claus, they also make DIY decorations with little Harper. The real eccentric detail is the doll representing Victoria in her Spice Girls period and standing on top of the fir tree, both in the star's London store and at home, along with the green and gold balls.

Kim Kardashian

By now the divorce with Kanye West is official, but Kim Kardashian continues to follow her particular taste for décor, devoted to minimalism and design. This year she made headlines for having decorated, well before the entrance hall and living room, her huge bathroom with eight maxi fir trees lit by white lights. In the living room, on the other hand, a snowy maxi fir tree with golden LEDs reigns, alongside which two fawns sprout, while in the kitchen, North and his siblings scattered elves, posed in the most bizarre positions, on the table, the chandelier, in front of the TV, ... During the wedding, however, Kim indulged in the most bizarre things, so much so that she was teased by followers for her decorations. In addition to the usual lights and snowy Christmas trees, vertical sculptures by Australian artist Kathy Temin sprouted up in the hallway of the Los Angeles mansion, reminding the couple's fans of tampons. The inspiration for the display was supposed to be Whoville, the town from Dr. Seuss's fairy tale How the Grinch Stole Christmas, but evidently something didn't work.

Reese Witherspoon

Last year, Reese Witherspoon opened the doors of her holidays-decorated home to Draper James, the brand distinguished by "classic American style, steeped in Southern charm, feminine and pretty", which she founded in 2013. The decorations already start outside, with a garland of fir branches colored by a red bow hanging on the door and two big nutcrackers. The Christmas mood continues inside: magnolia leaves and pine needles, three tartan stockings and some candles stand out on the fireplace; while next to it there is the tree decorated with white lights, many colored balls, a green bow on top and, underneath, several gifts to unwrap.

Emma Roberts

Emma Roberts' Christmas tree hides much more than just a few small lights or classic balls. The decorations chosen by the actress reveal her passions and a touch of feminist spirit. Peeking through the branches we discover a cup of hot chocolate with marsh mellows, bunnies, fairies, mice, jellyfish, a suffragette, Anna Wintour and Judge Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

Sarah Michelle Gellar

Sarah Michelle Gellar aka Buffy the vampire slayer is the queen of the Elf on the shelf competition. The actress enjoys placing these fairy characters in every place and situation, from make-up trousseau to the kitchen. This typically American tradition was born a few years with the publication of the book written by Carol Aebersold and her daughter Chanda Bell The Elf on the Shelf: A Christmas Tradition. The story tells of Santa Claus and his trusty elves visiting children from Thanksgiving until Christmas Eve. During the day the elves stay still, study the family that adopted them or play tricks on them. Then, at night, when everyone is asleep, they come alive and travel to the North Pole to tell Santa Claus everything they saw and whether the children were good or bad.

Millie Bobby Brown

Millie Bobby Brown is also among the celebrities who love to prepare the tree already in November. Every year she has always done it in the company of her dog, but this time boyfriend Jake Bongiovi is there to celebrate and decorate it with her. In a video posted on Instagram, the two decorate the branches of a long, skinny fir tree with golden lights, red ribbons, green, gold and red balls, including two special ones with their initials. They win the prize for the cutest young Christmas couple. The plus? All I want for Christmas is you by Mariah Carey in the background.
