Harry Styles launches his first make-up line

An exclusive collaboration between Pleasing and fashion designer Marco Ribeiro

Harry Styles launches his first make-up line An exclusive collaboration between Pleasing and fashion designer Marco Ribeiro

While talk continues in theaters and magazines about his role in Don't Worry Darling, Harry Styles is focusing on Pleasing, his beauty brand that made its debut last year with a series of genderless nail polishes and is preparing to unveil its first makeup line, born from a collaboration with Marco Ribeiro

"Continuing our mission to bring together joyful experiences and stimulating products, this collaboration focuses on intense pigments and offers Pleasing’s first foray into make-up. Encapsulated across the entire Pleasing x Marco Ribeiro collection are shared touchpoints of creativity that align Ribeiro’s colorful vision with that of our own."

The former One Direction chose the Brazilian-born Parisian designer, famous for his experimental creations with geometric shapes and bright colors, to create creamy textures, multipurpose shades, and five new limited-edition nail polish shades.

Inspired by Ribeiro's outfits that Harry has already sported several times on stage and in the artwork for his Harry's House album, the upcoming drop will focus on bright shades for several to create statement and fun looks that will brighten up our winter. The must-have product is the palette of pressed powder pigments, designed to be applied with a brush, directly with the fingers or to be mixed with the new all-purpose gloss, creating a more fluid and versatile texture. The collection also includes a trio of universal cream pigments: Écoulement and Soleil, which are a blue-green and a bright yellow, respectively, can be used all over the face, while the bright pink of La Vie En Rose Vif is designed for lips and cheek. As always, there is no shortage of nail polishes. The colors? Opaque brown for Incrível Marrom Fosco, vibrant opaque green for Cítrico Vibrante Cremoso, glossy burgundy for Borgonha Açaí Cremoso, aquamarine for Oceano Água-Marinha Cremoso, and vibrant orange for Aura Laranja Gelatina. Complementing the collaboration between Pleasing and Ribeiro will also be two hoodies sold, available in two colorways (brown and yellow or and pink and red), cut and sewn in Los Angeles. They are made of 100 percent cotton, of which 50 percent is recycled yarn and 50 percent is organic yarn.

Pleasing x Marco Ribeiro will debut on September 29 during Paris Fashion Week, at the designer's presentation, and will be available for purchase on the Pleasing website the same day.
