Milan celebrates Pride

On 24 June, Pride once again filled the streets of Milan, first the main railway station and then the Arch of Peace.

A rainbow wave crawled like lifeblood through the city, between the bars and the metro: 'This train is going in the opposite direction to any kind of discrimination' could be heard from the loudspeaker at Pasteur station. Never before was this year's festival also - and above all - a protest.
