Summertime 2: a summer of love, music and sunscreen

A winter has passed since Summer & friends made us understand how beautiful the Adriatic Riviera is, between first kisses, beach games and table football challenges. Now they are back on the small screen, on June 3rd, with the second season of Summertime, the Netflix TV show produced by Cattleya. And they bring with them the struggles of first loves, the awareness of the responsibility of choices, the contradictions of the transition year.

"Not only our characters have grown, but we also did", explains Andrea Lattanzi (Dario). All happens on the hot sand, "between colorful meadows and amazing sunsets", as Ludovico Tersigni (Ale) explains. Thus, Summertime 2 brings us back to those places where we would all like to take a refreshing dip and meet our new love, like the new entries we will meet, albeit virtually on the small screen, able to fit into everyday life without upsetting it but putting a pinch of ambiguity. Just like Amparo Piñero Guirao (Lola) herself, who came from Spain and found herself on the set "in a very close group which immediately made me feel part of a big family." What is certain is that for the protagonists life runs fast and the search for their path is constant. Just like the carefree experience of living an entire summer between a beach party and basking in the sun.

"Sunscreen is essential to avoid damaging the skin. The SPF is always with me in the beach bag, along with a music speaker to use when you are with friends or again a good book to read peacefully when I am alone." - reveals Coco Rebecca Edogamhe (Summer).

Summer, at least on Netflix, has already returned, and already makes you dream of where to go to bask in the sun all day without too many thoughts. "I am constantly experiencing that conflict of I want to tan but at the same time I want to protect my skin" - confides Amanda Campana (Sofia) - But I want to tan in eight and a half seconds, so I'm a continuous put on the cream fifty, put on the self-tanner on top, then put the cream back on again. For the rest, I just need good company at the beach".

This summer, for the cast of Summertime but perhaps also for us, he will speak above all of love, on the notes of his own personal soundtrack which, in the TV series, is signed by Coma_Cose, Carl Brave, Frah Quintale, Madame, Ariete and others. "On the other hand, I love rock, a bit metal like that of System of a Down, Rage Against the Machine, The Mars Volta - says Ludovico Tersigni (Ale) - but also electronics and jazz".
