The 6th edition of ReA! Art Fair in uderway The emerging artists' fair returns to Milan

ReA! Fair, the first fair in Italy aimed at emerging artists without the intermediation of galleries or museums, returns from 22 to 25 October 2026. For its sixth edition, the event rediscovers its historic autumn season and its reference headquarters: the spaces of the Steam Factory, cultural center of the City of Milan. Organized by ReA! Arte, a non-profit cultural association founded by Maryna Rybakova and Pelin Zeytinci, the event represents an opportunity to discover new voices of the national and international contemporary art scene, acting as a meeting point between emerging talents and operators in the sector.

The selection and curatorial vision of ReA! Art Fair

This year's selection, curated by the scientific committee of ReA! Art Fair under the direction of Maria Myasnikova (Head Curator), presents 50 international artists chosen through a global open call. The decision to confirm a limited number of 50 participants allows the curatorial team to focus on the quality and innovation of the artistic proposal. The sixth edition starts from a reflection on the distance between the idea and its realization, the central theme of the curatorial foreword signed by Maria Myasnikova:

“Today, ideas are flowing at an unprecedented speed. They are generated, shared, consumed and forgotten within a few seconds. The images multiply endlessly. The opinions are already complete. The concepts are economic. Realization, on the other hand, is not. The artists gathered in the sixth edition of ReA! Art Fair remind us of this distinction. What matters is not simply to have an idea, but to commit to giving it shape. Put it to the test. Build it. Allow her to encounter resistance. Allowing it to fail. Allow them to transform. This year's edition comes at a time when creative work is increasingly being measured in terms of visibility, speed and production. In this context, ReA! continues to support something slower and more demanding: artistic practices that privilege research over reaction, experimentation over certainty, and long-term development over immediate recognition. If ideas are easy, implementation remains an act of conviction. This exhibition is dedicated to those who are willing to take that leap.”

ReA! Art Fair is a non-profit association created with the objective of supporting emerging talents and offering them concrete opportunities for visibility. Through the fair and various Special Projects, the reality creates a direct point of contact between artists and the public, promoting a primary market free of intermediaries and barriers.

The sixth edition of ReA! Art Fair is held at the Fabbrica del Vapor in Milan, the City's cultural center dedicated to the promotion of creativity and contemporary languages. Created from the recovery of an industrial complex from the early twentieth century, the space today represents one of the main centers for exhibitions and creative residences in the city. The event will take place from 22 to 25 October 2026 with free admission upon donation.
