Gisou turns crème brûlée into a beauty collection Autumn tastes like vanilla, caramel and freshly scented hair
We’ve turned matcha into skincare, honey into a beauty ingredient and the scent of food into an entire fragrance category. All that was missing was dessert. With the Crème Brûlée Collection, Gisou takes founder Negin Mirsalehi’s favorite dessert and turns it into a little beauty gourmand ritual. The inspiration? The most satisfying gesture of all: cracking through the crisp, caramelized surface of a crème brûlée to reach the soft vanilla cream underneath. Except this time, no spoon is required.
Crack, apply, shine
The Honey Glaze Collagen Lip Mask translates that idea into a two-layer lip mask, with a thin caramel-colored surface hiding a creamy vanilla base. Break through it, apply it, and it leaves lips with a sheer golden-nude veil, a glossy finish and a delicate scent. The Honey Infused Lip Oil follows the same idea, only in a more fluid version. This transparent lip oil gives lips a glossy shine, a subtle golden glow and the scent of vanilla and sweet caramel. Two lip products for soft, luminous lips that look so delicious you might be tempted to taste them.
And then there’s the hair
The third product in the collection is the Honey Infused Hair Perfume, a hair perfume that turns your hair into a tiny patisserie on the go, but with discretion. Notes of brown sugar, whipped cream and vanilla milk recreate the warmth of freshly caramelized crème brûlée, leaving hair scented, soft and luminous. So now our hair doesn’t just get to have a good hair day: it can also transport us straight into a French pastry shop.
Crème brûlée is served
The Gisou Crème Brûlée Collection launches on October 13 at Sephora and on on the website. The Honey Glaze Collagen Lip Mask costs €26, the Honey Infused Lip Oil €28 and the Honey Infused Hair Perfume 15 ml €22. For those who can’t resist a little indulgence (in beauty or dessert), there’s the Crème Brûlée Collection Gift Set. Three products, vanilla, caramel and one fundamental question: skincare or dessert? Why not both?
