AVGVST Berlin presents a new jewelry collection in collaboration with Crosby Studios, the studio founded by Harry Nuriev. Launching on November 6th, 2025, the capsule stems from a simple yet radical gesture: taking ordinary objects and transforming them into wearable sculptures. No longer pocket tools or bag essentials, but micro-manifestos that cling to the body. The logic is that of the readymade: a shift in context that overturns the meaning of things. It is also the core practice of Transformism, the conceptual movement formulated by Nuriev, in which common objects, a comb, a pair of sunglasses, a flip phone and other everyday elements are transposed literally into jewelry. Ordinariness becomes a language of metal.
A collection for many styles
Each piece is conceived as a small assemblage: elements that combine into subtly ironic sets and become a portable manifesto. The collection includes single earrings, a flat chain, bracelets and rings in polished sterling silver. To wear an object is to declare a stance in the world. One part of the capsule takes shape in the “Rock’N’Droll” set: four music-themed trinkets, microphone, CD, headphones, cassette designed to be added to a hoop or chain. A compressed Y2K flashback in metal. Wearing a flip phone on the ear or a comb around the neck becomes a relationship: what normally lives in the hand or in a pocket enters one’s identity. The inspiration behind the capsule collection
The imagery is rooted in AVGVST’s Berlin flagship, opened in 2023 and designed by Crosby Studios: a boutique, tattoo studio and hidden garden in a single space, a resonance chamber where metal surfaces, a laboratory mindset and a “dark kitchen” atmosphere recontextualize the object, turning it into a tactile memory. The jewel is no longer a finished product but a derivation of its environment: a fragment of furniture that has chosen to live on the skin. Founded by Natalia Bryantseva in 2019, AVGVST looks to what endures and translates it into the present: museum-like forms, refined proportions, an austere aesthetic.
