Foot Locker celebrates its 45th anniversary with Europe's sneakerheads With a campaign that invites you to select the 5 best sneakers of all time

It's been exactly 45 years since the first Foot Locker store opened in California. Since 1974 sneaker culture has experienced an incredible evolution, both in terms of popularity and in terms of quality, research, and innovation. A period of growth that Foot Locker has not only experienced first-hand but that it has concretely contributed to creating.

In order to celebrate such an important milestone, Foot Locker has decided to launch a campaign featuring Europe's sneakerheads, to pay homage to the sneaker culture, sharing their selection of the best 5 sneakers of all time and inviting their community to do the same. Among the 17 cultural shapers and sneakerheads from all over Europe sharing their five greatest sneakers of all time in the campaign, the Italians stand out: Side Baby - who has just released his first solo album Arturo - and street style icons Federico Schwartz and Luca Santeramo - true masters of style with a great following on social media. The personal videos have all been entirely created by the talents themselves and invite fans from all over the world to publish their first five GOT (Greatest Of All Time) sneakers, starting a worldwide social campaign with the hashtag #NameYour5.

From September 12, sneaker lovers across Europe will also have the opportunity to get a pair of "birthday sneakers" in store and online thanks to the launch of four exclusive silhouettes created specifically for the anniversary celebrations. These include the adidas LA Trainer, the adidas AM4 Ultra Boost, the Puma Liquid Cell and the Converse Chuck Taylor - all inspired by the famous logo and Foot Locker stripes.
