While most people are awaiting the beginning of August to enjoy a few days of relaxation, celebrities have already packed their best summer outfits and moved to more or less exotic destinations with friends and new loves. Kim Kardashian chose Rome for a mini vacation, JLo celebrated her birthday with Ben Affleck aboard a luxury yacht in Saint-Tropez, while Dua Lipa flew to Mexico City. The singer has posted on her Instagram profile some shots that have intrigued her fans. In the pictures the star, wearing a crop jacket and a matching miniskirt by Casablanca, showed her stay in a bizarre and colorful snake-shaped house that can be found for rent on Airbnb for $355 per night.

It's El Nido de Quetzalcoatl, a structure inspired by a half-bird, half-snake god adored by the Aztecs, which occupies almost 16 hectares in the hills around Naucalpan de Juárez, a lush wooded area west of Mexico City. Built by architect Javier Senosiain, the house looks almost like a sculpture, a work of Gaudí, whose bright colors take visitors into a dreamlike, psychedelic environment. The striking building tangles around caves, streams, canyons and vegetation just like a reptile would do and, like a real snake, it has a head, tail and a sinuous curved body.

In its belly is a spacious 5-bedroom apartment featuring subdued, natural colors, wood details and almost primitive-looking furniture.

This place is perfect for anyone who loves nature, silence, woods, architecture, and some one who wants to recover it's capacity to amaze. - We read on Airbnb - It has a park with botanical gardens, a cave of minerals and lakes to go around. It is a perfect place for small groups on retreats, to write, to meditate, for yoga, for walking, for a nice rest.

After Quetzalcoatl's Nest and a visit to the Palacio de Bellas Artes, Dua spent the rest of her time out clubbing with friends. She wore baby braids, micro tops and a shower of resin pop bracelets and rings created by Blobb the brand of Sofía Hellyes to dine at Máximo Bistrot and taste the dishes, such as brioche with sea urchin by chef Eduardo García. Just time to change outfit and she show off Amina Muaddi pumps to go drink tequila and mescal at Hanky Panky, one of the first bars where speakeasy trend came back in CDMX.
