After months of lockdown living in claustrophobic city apartments, we've learned to decorate, manage and love small spaces. So, why not choose a tiny house for our next vacation? It only has to be comfortable, practical, organized, super cute, sustainable and surrounded by nature. Instagram, where the hashtag #tinyhouse has millions of followers, loves this new frontier of living and hospitality in all its possible versions: from the little house in the trees to the small hobbit-style cottage in the woods, from the mountain refuge to the container overlooking the sea, from the gypsy caravan to the houseboat on the river. Because the shape and location may change, but the philosophy remains the same: "Live small, dream big"

"A room in nature: nomadic, ecological, self-sufficient". Friland, a young Friulian startup born in 2019, offers a tiny traveling accommodation immersed in nature perfect for experiencing a real green and relaxing summer. Outdoors there are the Saisera Valley, the Julian Alps, the millennial forest of resonant firs. Indoors, however, the house features, albeit in a small space, all the comforts such as heating and air conditioning, but also a double bed, a mini kitchen, a shower and a toilet.

Defender Eco Home - Traveling

Jaguar Land Rover is exploring the most beautiful uncontaminated landscapes of Italy and, inspired by the new Defender Hybrid, is offering the opportunity to spend a holiday in an eco-sustainable house, surrounded by nature, available only on Airbnb. The tiny house is entirely made with eco-friendly materials and Made in Italy. For example, the furnishings were built with waste material from the production of wine grapes. The interior is always the same and houses a bedroom with walk-in closet, a small dining area, and a bathroom. The outside, instead, changes according to the period in which you stay and goes from the Salento hinterland to the Tuscan Maremma, from Etna to the Dolomites, from the Langhe to the panoramas of Sardinia.

Madame du Bois - Borgo San Dalmazzo

To appreciate this Borgo San Dalmazzo rental you must have a romantic, bohemian spirit. This house in the woods is a larch and chestnut wood wagon, hand-built during the months of lockdown by a local craftsman who furnished it with salvaged items, and is called Madame du Bois. According to legend, Madame du Bois was born in 1846 in Paris to a circus family who dreamed of a future as a trapeze artist. Too bad the girl suffered from vertigo, so repudiated by her father, she fled. She became the most famous horse trainer of the last century and continued to travel on a gypsy carriage. Pretty cool, right?

Tiny house b&b Giardini dell'Ardo - Belluno

Why choose it for a weekend getaway? For the great natural scenery, with views of the mountains and the deep gorge of the Ardo stream that you can enjoy from the large window of this mini house. The other reason is eco-sustainability. The building, in fact, was made of wood and straw from organic farming.

Container Suite: suspended between land and sea - Terrasini

In Terrasini, in the province of Palermo, there is a Container-Suite suspended over a beautiful valley overlooking the coast of the Gulf of Castellammare. Why don't you come and discover it?
