Rihanna is America's youngest self-made billionaire woman 2023 projects to be a promising year for the record-breaking pop star

Rihanna is unstoppable: eight albums, lots of hits and awards, a thriving career in fashion and beauty and a future as a maternity style icon. In just 35 years, the Barbados singer has racked up an impressive number of hits, and she seems to have no intention of stopping. After a long period away from the spotlight in which she devoted all her attention to the son she had with rapper A$AP Rocky, Riri returned to the stage for the Super Bowl of February 13 with a breathtaking show, thanks to an unparalleled performance of her most popular singles, a unique and immense dance troupe - now viral on social media thanks to their cute "marshmallow" jumpsuits - and an unexpected revelation of her second pregnancy.

Rihanna's countless accomplishments surely include being ranked by Forbes' Richest People in the World List, which last year crowned her America's youngest self-made female billionaire. The net worth of her fortune has grown to $1.4 billion, a figure achieved mainly through her brands. Fenty Beauty, which she co-owns with French luxury retailer LVMH, recorded over $550 million in revenue in 2020 to reach a net worth of over $1 billion in August 2021; while SavagexFenty, the super-inclusive underwear line in which she holds a 30% stake, was valued at $1 billion in February 2021. All of these incomes placed the star in 21st place on the overall self-made women's list and, as the only one under 40, allowed her to blow away Kim Kardashian's title of America's youngest self-made billionaire woman. The richest self-made woman in the United States is Diane Hendricks who, thanks to the company ABC Supply, has held the title since 2019. Along with the entrepreneur, the ranking includes well-known names in showbiz such as Kylie Jenner (41st place with $600 million), Madonna (47th place with $575 million), Taylor Swift (48th place with $570 million), Beyoncé (61st place with $450 million), Reese Witherspoon (65th place with $430 million) or Sandra Bullock (96th place with $225 million).
