Sand is the new black, according to the fall 2021 trends Stylight research prove that the search for sand items and accessories has grown by + 108%

News flash: sand is the new black. Or at least this is how the market research of the last period carried out by the platform Stylight Insight, which identifies it as Trend of the month. The clicks for the keyword "sand" have grown organically by 108% compared to the same period in 2020 on the online shopping site, marking a shift in consumer wishes to ready-to-wear in contrast to the experimental eclecticism of Demna Gvsalia and Balenciaga with Kim Kardashian, who play with total black in full cryptic looks, able to catapult Kim into the Olympus of high fashion. While black comes to life as an entity in its own right on the SS22 catwalks and in recent red carpets, proving to be suitable for summer periods, the witness of "color that is good with everything" passes to sand, which materializes as a soft shade, as gentle and tender to really match with everything, as well as more versatile in highlighting the brilliance of dopamine dressing colors, who are trending this winter 2021. The data speak of a very current present, but what will actually be the color of next autumn winter 2022? Will sand remain at the top of trends or will it the total revenge of strong and dark tones come? Nothing is certain yet, except that the goodbye of black would represent another of the great epochal changes of this last two years, although many are to defend its irreplaceability in the wardrobe, designers first. New black or not, the sand is still the total chic color par excellence, which manages to conquer even the most daring patterns in terms of combinations, accompanies the elegant outfits and in the collective imagination is easy to bring it back to the iconic winter coat, that warms the colors of the complexion turned off by the winter cold and gives a slight saturation to the colors of the wardrobe.

Being the open question to personal taste, it only remains to identify which are the sand garments to have, from iconic must-have such as trench coats and coats, passing through pants, t-shirts and accessories all to mix to bring your own closet this new color joker, regardless of their loyalty to black. The colors at the bottom are not jealous, right?

Brands who love vintage

Sand is the perfect color to accompany the cold season, and brands passionate about outerwear know it well. Just think of the democratic coat of Max Mara, who today celebrates 70 years in all its splendor, confirming itself as a fundamental piece of every wardrobe for elegance and functionality, or the iconic palette of the British fashion house Burberry, that with a century of history and a very recent inclusive reinterpretation by the creative director Riccardo Tisci does not lose the passion for his beloved really versatile neutral. Even the Roman maison of Silvia Venturini Fendi, which has made its way in the world of skins and furs thanks to the precious warm and cold shades of the raw material used, reinterprets its heritage also in the fur-free challenge in the hands of Kim Jones. In the same vein, Bottega Veneta, which in the midst of the experimentation of color carried out by Daniel Lee continues to feed the range of accessories and clothing in neutral tones, extremely elegant and avant-garde.

Sand for all tastes

A palette of sand-based hues transforms the nature of all colors, allowing interesting and fun combinations with all pop colors, loved by Gen-Z-ers. The brilliance of shop green, electric blue, strawberry red or shocking pink stand out particularly with sand as a base, which is an excellent substitute for black. The same goes for the pastel colors, which in a somewhat cottage-core interpretation of winter combinations are perfectly combined with the warm and cold shades of sand. nss G-Club offers a selection of must-have garments for fall/winter 2021.
