Zara presents the new Barbie capsule collection

Zara has decided to pay homage to Barbie, the most iconic doll of all time that becomes the star of an all-pink capsule collection. The collaboration with Mattel offers a selection of glamorous athleisure items perfect for mid-season that combine our need for casual and comfortable clothing with the desire to return to wear something special.

The collection includes 9 pieces: cropped hoodies, joggers, long-sleeved tops, t-shirts, shorts, swimwear with a 90s vibe, bodysuits and seamless ribbed tops. All, of course, are colored in pastel pink, with touches of peach and white. 

Adding a special twist to the capsule are two limited-edition Barbies wearing sportswear featuring the words "Zara Barbie 1959". Proceeds from their sale (priced at €34.95 each, although they are currently sold-out) will go to the Spanish NGO Entreculturas for the development of educational activities.  

The tracksuits, tees and all other items in the Barbie x Zara collection, presented with a campaign styled by Lotta Volkova, are available online and in the low-cost chain's stores. Prices range from €12.95 to €25.95.
