The perfect jeans for spring/summer 2021

We have tons of them but we always wear our favorite ones, here are the new models you can't miss

The perfect jeans for spring/summer 2021 We have tons of them but we always wear our favorite ones, here are the new models you can't miss

Each person has at least 7 pairs in his closet and despite the (almost) 148 years since his birth is ready to buy another pair. No we are not giving the numbers, we are of course talking about jeans! This canvas, symbol of revolution and forerunner of genderless, has come a long way from Genoa and Nimes, does the boyfriend model tell you anything?

The new models on the runway

Always present on the catwalks, this year with many echoes from the past such as the controversial low waist and the wide-leg, jeans are renewed once again. Among the influencers, the wide-leg model explodes, with a wide leg, a bit like the new "palazzo", simple or with a cut on the knee. Etro presented it on the catwalk very oversized and with a leather belt, combined with matching bra and blazers with a pattern. Wide but not ripped according to Chloè, with a central seam that gives an effective optical momentum. With more seams and in gray that of Ulla Johnson, which is somewhat reminiscent of patchwork.

Another trend that has captured the Genoa canvas, different washes for each part that makes up the jeans according to Victoria Beckham. Double fabric for a super sexy optical effect by Mugler. The patchwork of fabrics perfect for shorts, that of Etro and its shades of blue for the iconic paisley in a summer version. Short yes but not too short this year, with the lapels seen by Celine, very gritty with leather blazers on Kaia Gerber and among the returns also the skinny Bermuda shorts proposed by Balmain. The rest of the denim according to Balmain? Light wash and light paw that opens to mid-calf.

Slightly flared and cropped another very popular model, perfect for shoes with ankle lacing like the new Valentino mules seen on the catwalk. Federica Tosi's cropped flare proposal has an asymmetrical cut. Did the usual indigo get you tired? White jeans remain a passe-partout, even all pastel shades are good or do like Lorenzo Serafini who colors them like Jackson Pollock for Philosophy SS21.

The coolest ones to buy

The advertising imagery linked to jeans can only refer to Kate Moss in the Calvin Klein Jeans campaign of the 90s. To renew this imagination is once again the queen of top models, this time under the name of Saint Laurent. With a street background, precisely the memorial wall of the house of composer Serge Gainsbourg, the love of Jane Birkin, in Paris. Fur in natural tones, jeans and a platform with a bow make up the outfit that marks the new Kate era, shot by Jurgen Teller for Saint Laurent's SS21 collection.

A trend is not a trend if all the influencers don't love it. Veronica Ferraro chooses the wide leg with side slit for the take-away breakfast. Horizontal cut on the knees the one worn by Sofia Coelho (yes, even the cuts are back!). Ginevra Mavilla combines the timeless white t-shirt with patchwork jeans by Stella McCartney. So nss G-Club selected some models that could inspire you for the next shots, inside and outside!
